Serving America: How the Restaurant Industry is Advocating for a Stronger Future on Capitol Hill

At the National Restaurant Association 39th Annual Public Affairs Conference 2025, our message to lawmakers is clear: support policies that protect and empower the restaurant industry. With over 15.7 million jobs and $1.5 trillion in expected sales this year, restaurants are vital to the U.S. economy, but we’re facing rising costs, outdated equipment, and burdensome credit card fees. We’re urging Congress to make tax laws permanent that promote growth and stability. Thank you to our operators who are sharing their stories and advocating for the future of our industry!
